NORBURY WHARF LIMITED
Shop front in the summer

Sunday 20 May 2012

As I mentioned earlier in the week boat sales are progressing steadily at the moment. We see a range of customers these days from the very experienced through to the complete novice. We try to suggest to all novices to hire a boat prior to "jumping in at the deep end" and buying their first boat so they know if boating is for them and what layout etc. they require. We suggest to all customers; regardless of experience, to at least have a hull survey prior to purchasing their new boat. Although we make our dock available for surveys twice a week, it is essential that prospective purchasers locate an independent surveyor. We have a list of surveyors kept in the office, all of whom visit us on a regular occasion and already know how we work.

Today has been an exception as we docked two boats for survey this morning and a further boat this afternoon to be pressure washed and blacked. That kept me and Bernard busy for the most of the day and we have been moving boats around. Mick has been working on a private boat.

Regards,
David
